Wood pellets provide a great alternative to other litter options for many types of animals.

They are a completely natural product, free of any kind of additives or binders, and provide a natural pine scent, which helps to control odours. Our wood pellets are super absorbent, they can hold up to 3 times their own weight in liquid, meaning that they last longer than other types of litter. Wood pellets can also be composted even after they have been used.

Overall, wood pellets are cost effective, environmentally friendly, and perform well when used as litter or bedding.

How To Use For Guinea-Pig Bedding

When using wood pellets for guinea pigs, you will want to cover the bottom of their box with a thick layer of wood pellets; these wood pellets can then be covered with a pet safe mat or fleece type material. Although this is not a necessity and they will be fine to just walk over the pellets. As your guinea pigs use their pellets, they will turn to a more dust like substance. This will naturally move towards the bottom of their box, with the fresh pellets staying at the top. When you are replacing the wood pellets, scoop out the dust and any clumps and then refill with any pellets as needed.
