Description

Maxiflame is suitable for open fires, it can be used on closed appliances and multifuel stoves, but care must be taken due to the high heat output.

Maxiflame is a medium size petcoke ovoid, easy to light, clean burning, produces high heat and very low ash. Unlike most petcoke briquettes, Maxiflame stores well and is excellent value for money.

This briquette, although not on the approved smokeless list, burns like a smokeless fuel. It is very similar to one of our other fuels. If you like the sound of this product, but require a smokeless fuel, Excel may be a better option to heat your home.

If you live in a non-smokeless area, Maxiflame will provide you with an intense hot heat, and a good burn duration. Meaning you will have to refuel your fire less often than products such as logs. You can also expect the coals to leave less ash residue than the likes of longer burning fuels, such as Supertherm.

The briquette is not HETAS approved and not approved for use in smoke control areas.
