Our tiger heat logs are made up of compressed sawdust as a by-product of the timber mills. Briquettes are compressed under intense pressure and have a very low moisture content.

When comparing to firewood, wood briquettes often burn for longer and give a higher heat output. Each pack of tiger logs contains five briquettes per pack and is easy to store.

Wood briquettes, often known as heat logs, are becoming an increasingly popular choice of fuel. They are considered to be environmentally friendly, and offer a slower burn than firewood - perfect for those who find they are refuelling their wood burning stove too often!

Tiger heat logs are long lasting, high heat and eco-friendly. They are manufactured from clean wood waste and are carbon neutral.

The briquettes are easy and clean to handle, and what's more, they leave little ash residue. Tiger heat logs are a dense fuel, with a high calorific value, therefore meaning that they have a very high heat output, along with a good burn time.

How to use:

Light your fire in your normal manner with kindling and firelighters. Once the kindling in flaming away, add a couple of briquettes into the stove.

Before adding a briquette, we would recommend breaking them in half. Briquettes expand in size when burning, breaking them down initially will help keep a good air flow when they expand.

Once your briquettes are burning away nicely, restrict the airflow to the fire for a longer burn duration.

When burning, briquettes will produce a flame initially, when they are combusting properly, the flames will turn to more of a smoulder.
