Fitzpatrick Fuels offers a delivery service to most areas in the UK. Our smaller scale items are delivered by a standard courier service, however, our fuel products/ heavier weighted items require a specialized service.
Delivery to our local area is free, outside of this area there is a fixed delivery charge.
Delivery to the Kirklees and Calderdale area will be done on one of our own vehicles (with a crane-off facility), delivery outside of these areas will be delivered by Palletways, which offers a standard, kerbside delivery service.
On our website, you can order any product, in whatever quantities that you like. Once your order has been processed, the team at Fitzpatrick Fuels will build your customised pallet, with the products in the quantities that you ordered.

Please note that we cannot give you a time to expect your delivery. If you call us on the morning of your delivery, we can give you an estimated time frame.
It is not necessary that you are home when we deliver, and if that is the case, you must advise us accordingly as to where to leave the product. We cannot be held responsible in the event of any loss or damage if you instruct us to leave the goods in your absence. We will endeavor to deliver the goods where instructed, please note, heavy items such as crates of logs and bulk bags will be offloaded via a crane and will be left adjacent to the vehicle.
As a general rule, all of our deliveries will be made by the roadside. However, if we can make the delivery easier for you by dropping the goods in a specific place on your land, we will try our best to accommodate. If we bring our vehicle onto your property, as per your instruction, we cannot be held liable for any damage.
If you live in an area with difficult access, you need to inform us prior to your delivery date so we can ensure to use the right transportation. If any of the below refers to your delivery address, please inform us:
Limited parking/ offloading area
If you require a pallet truck, please be aware, this cannot be used on grass, slopes or gravel.
If you place an order with us through our e-commerce website and the delivery is outside of our catchment area of Kirklees and Calderdale, a courier service will be used to deliver the products to you. Upon checkout, you will be advised of the delivery costs that will be applicable. A typical delivery time period is 3 - 10 working days.
Once you have added your postcode to the checkout page, you will be given a delivery cost for your order. The delivery fee is a fixed price, which is calculated based on location. The delivery fee covers the use/space of the pallet on that vehicle.
You will also notice that the items in your basket have been calculated to give the total weight of your order. Our smart pallet calculator allows you to maximise the delivery cost. You will be informed if you can add additional items to your basket, without increasing your delivery charge.
Palletways will deliver the products to you using a heavy goods vehicle and only offer kerbside delivery. The products will be delivered to you on a pallet, and a pallet truck will be used to drop the delivery. Palletways may not be able to deliver to your address if you live on a steep hill, have restricted access or the pallet needs to be moved across an uneven surface (grass, gravel, cobbles etc).
Typically the delivery will be brought out on an 18 tonne vehicle. If this is not suitable, due to the delivery area being a narrow road; cul-de-sac; positioned on a steep hill or limited access for example, please give us a call on either 01484 653 768 or 01484 218 418 as soon as the order is placed to request a smaller vehicle.
Please note that you need to inform us of any overhanging branches as the vehicles have curtain sides which can be damaged by encroaching trees and shrubs.
If the delivery cannot be made due to an issue with access and you haven’t made us aware of this beforehand then it is possible to rearrange the delivery on a smaller vehicle for a re-delivery fee (please see below).
When your order is delivered, it will be delivered on a wooden pallet. The pallet will be offloaded using a tail lift and a pallet truck then left kurbside for you. As seen above, if the address is on a hill, the driver will not be able to unload the pallet as it is unsafe to do so. It is at the discretion of the delivery driver as to whether they will place your order in a certain place. It is at the discretion of the delivery driver as to whether they will place your order in a certain place.
The pallet will not be taken away by the delivery driver, it will be yours to dispose of as you wish.
When you place your order you will receive an email to say that your order has been dispatched to our palletways courier.
The pallet network company will call to arrange a delivery date once they have received your order. We aim to get your order to them the day after it is processed where possible. If you haven’t heard anything from the pallet network company within 3 working days of placing your order, please give us a call and we will chase this up for you.
In order for the delivery to be made someone needs to be present to sign for it, unless we have in writing from you. Without writing confirmation the delivery will not be completed.
Once your order has left our hands, the pallet company is responsible for any delays that may occur with your order. With the current shortage of delivery drivers, this is causing delays with orders being delivered. Please keep this in mind when placing an order, we are unable to resolve a delayed delivery due to this matter as the drivers are not employed by us.
At this moment in time, we aim to get your order to you within 3 to 10 working days from the date you place your order. However, as stated above, the pallet network company is a 3rd party company not run by us so if they are experiencing delays we, unfortunately, cannot help that. We, therefore, do not accept any responsibility for delays on deliveries once they have left our hands as this is down to the pallet network company.
If the delivery is attempted and cannot be completed due to the address being unreachable or due to no one being present to accept the delivery resulting in the delivery needing to be attempted again then a fee is applicable.
In the case of attempting a repeat delivery, you will be charged a re-delivery fee of £25. The pallet network will call to arrange for the re-delivery.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure the delivery point is suitable for delivery as per these instructions. Please give us a call if you are unsure.
Fitzpatrick Fuels will endeavor to make your delivery service as smooth as possible, however, we are not able to take responsibility for any problems that could arise through Palletways, as this is a third-party delivery company. However, if you do have any issues with the delivery, please contact us and we will try our best to help resolve the situation.
