Fitzpatrick Fuels: Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions, as laid out below, apply to all Fitzpatrick Fuels purchases, including orders made online, and over the phone.
1. Introduction
Fitzpatrick Fuels, a trading name of Fitzpatrick Fuels Limited, is registered in England and Wales, under the company number 07779679.
When you place an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below, which apply to both online and telephone purchases.

2. Definitions

The seller – ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to Fitzpatrick Fuels Limited. The buyer – ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to anyone accessing our website and viewing and/or purchasing goods.
Goods and/or product(s) – refers to any product that can be purchased on our website or via our telephone ordering system.

Order – means any order you place with us, either on our website or over the phone.
3. Terms of Use
You can place an order with us, either on our website or via our telephone ordering system. In doing so, you agree to accept these terms and conditions.
The seller reserves the right to change or amend any aspect of these terms and conditions – and without prior notice.
4. Description of Goods
Each product we sell relates to the product description seen on its individual website page, including our terms and conditions, and our delivery options. We aim to provide you with accurate product descriptions of all of the items we sell.
Product descriptions are subject to change at any time and the seller reserves the right to alter any details, measurements, specifications, and any other description in the listing – and without prior notice.
5. Placing an Order
Payment can be made through our checkout facility. All prices on this site are inclusive of VAT at a rate of either 5% or 20%. Goods will remain at the property of Fitzpatrick Fuels until the payment has been received.
We accept the following payments:

PayPal.
Please review your order details, making sure everything is correct. Once we have received your order and it has been accepted, we will dispatch your goods to the delivery address you have provided.
Should any payment come with any form of a discrepancy, including suspicion of fraud, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
If the seller cannot fulfill your order due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel your order or offer an alternative. In the unlikely event that this should happen, we will call you to discuss the options available.
Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation, followed by a dispatch email after the goods have left our premises.
6. Order Errors
In the event that a customer becomes aware of an error made, they will contact us immediately and Fitzpatrick Fuels will try to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
7. Acceptance of sales
The terms and conditions create an agreement between us, Fitzpatrick Fuels, and you, the customer.
You are deemed to have placed an order having read the terms and conditions and made payment for the goods which you have ordered.
We will issue via email an order number that will be unique to your purchase. If you wish to cancel please advise as soon as possible and refer to our cancellation policy below.

9. Returns
If you would like to return your goods, please email our team on: office@fitzpatrick-fuels.co.uk, within 14 days of receipt of your order. When contacting us in relation to a return, please include your order reference number and a brief explanation for the reason for the return.
Providing your order has not been used, and is returned to us in its original packaging, we will process a refund for you within 5 working days.
If you have no means of returning your order, we will arrange collection of the goods upon request, debiting the courier collection charges from your refund. Collection charges are dependent on the size of your goods, and the collection location, with the cost varying from £15 to £80. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the collection charge.
Cancellations:
If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us at office@fitzpatrick-fuels.co.uk, or call us on 01484 653 768 as soon as possible, quoting your order number.
Providing the goods have not been dispatched, you can cancel your order without any charge.
We aim to dispatch orders the same day, or the following working day, so if you need to cancel your order, please do let us know as soon as you can.
Damaged Products:
If the goods have been signed as damaged on the delivery note and you do not want us to send you a replacement, we will arrange a collection of the goods at no cost to you. Damaged goods need to be brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery.
Please note, our collection service is charged per collection attempt. Therefore, collection of your goods will be free on the first occasion, with a charge for subsequent attempts thereafter – in the instance, for example, you are not home when we arrive to collect your goods.

13. VAT
The prices displayed on this website are inclusive of VAT. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the VAT rate you utilise is correct for the intended use of the product.
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you certify that the VAT rate of your order is correct to the intended use of purpose for the product. VAT on domestic fuel is levied at the current reduced rate of 5% and accordingly, all our prices within this website for fuel contain VAT inclusive of 5%.
Any other products will be levied at a standard rate of VAT applicable at the time of purchase. Please see HMRC Reference: Notice 701/19 (August 2010) for further details.
14. Discounted Prices for collections
We are offering a new service for people able to collect rather than deliver.
We will be offering discount prices on products collected in person from either of our shops. These prices are applicable to items collected only. These prices will not apply to products ordered in person for delivery.
There is no obligation to call ahead of collecting but please be aware that larger volumes of the same product may not be available to hand. Should you require a large volume of one type of product please do not hesitate to give us a call and we will happily check for you if we have enough stock available.
These discounted collection prices will never be applied to any of our delivery services. We are still offering local delivery services, however, the prices for products will vary from the collection prices.
