What’s New at Honley Garden Centre – Fresh Herbs & Early Spring Colour
It’s starting to feel like spring here at Honley, and the benches are beginning to fill up with fresh colour and fragrance.
🌿 Fresh Herbs
Our herb bench is looking and smelling fantastic at the moment.
We’ve currently got a lovely selection, including Rosemary , Lavender, Mint, Salvia, and several varieties of Thyme — including a beautiful pink thyme that smells incredible.
Herbs are one of the easiest ways to start growing something useful in the garden. They’re perfect for:
- Kitchen windowsills
- Patio pots and containers
- Herb gardens
- Or simply brushing past and enjoying the scent
At £4.00 each, they’re a simple way to add both fragrance and structure to your garden.
🌷 Spring Bulbs Are Waking Up
Our potted spring bulbs are already shooting and starting to wake up.
We’ve got a great selection, including Narcissus, Tulips, Iris, Scilla and Fritillaria, all ready to plant now.
Plant them into beds, borders, or pots, and they’ll reward you with colour over the coming weeks and months — perfect if you want instant spring interest in the garden.

9cm pot - £2.30 each, or 5 for £10.00
12cm pot - £3.20 each, or 5 for £15
🌸 Early Colour for Beds, Borders & Pots
We’ve also started bringing in some lovely early flowering plants that are perfect for adding colour while the garden wakes up.
You’ll spot primroses, alpines, and hardy perennials starting to appear on the benches, along with plenty more arriving over the coming weeks.
