5TH MARCH 2026: WHAT'S NEW THIS WEEK
We’ve had another delivery arrive this week, and the benches are starting to fill up with some lovely shrubs and structural plants ready for spring.
Here are a few of the new arrivals you’ll spot when you visit.
🌼 Viburnum Tinus - £10.99
These evergreen shrubs are looking beautiful at the moment with clusters of delicate white flowers.
Viburnum tinus is a brilliant all-round garden plant — it keeps its glossy green leaves all year and flowers through late winter and early spring when the garden can still feel a little quiet.
They work really well for:
- Borders
- Informal hedging
- Evergreen structure in the garden
- Early pollen for bees
🌿 Cordyline – Architectural Colour - £16.99
These striking Cordylines instantly add height and drama with their bold red and pink striped foliage.
They’re perfect for:
- Patio pots and containers
- Creating a focal point in borders
- Modern or tropical-style planting
A great plant if you want to add a bit of structure and contrast to your garden.
🌸 Weeping Willow (Salix “Kilmarnock”) - £15.99
These unusual little trees have graceful arching branches covered in soft willow catkins, which are just starting to appear now.
They make a lovely feature plant and are especially nice in:
- Decorative patio pots
- Small gardens
- Borders where you want a focal point
The fluffy catkins are also a welcome early food source for bees.
🌼 Cytisus (Broom) - £8.99
We’ve also had some Cytisus shrubs arrive, which will soon be covered in bright yellow or red flowers.
These are fantastic low-maintenance shrubs that bring a big splash of colour in spring.
They’re great for:
- Sunny borders
- Cottage-style planting
- Adding colour to the garden as spring gets going
