16TH MARCH 2026: WHAT'S NEW THIS WEEK
Over the last few days we’ve had some lovely new deliveries arrive at our Honley garden centre, and the space is really starting to fill up with colour again as we head into spring.
If you’ve not visited us before, you might be surprised by what’s tucked away here. During the warmer months, our Honley site gradually transforms into a small but colourful garden centre full of plants, planters and garden inspiration, with new stock arriving regularly throughout the season.
Here’s a look at some of the things that have arrived this week.
Primrose Bowls
One of the first things people notice at the moment are our bright primrose bowls, which are packed with vibrant spring colour.
Primroses are perfect for early in the season because they flower reliably and cope well with the cooler temperatures we often still get in March. They’re ideal for placing by the front door, on patios or dotted around the garden to give an instant lift after winter.
The mix of colours really brightens up the garden centre and they make an easy way to add colour to outdoor spaces.
Spring Planters
We’ve also got a range of seasonal spring planters, combining different plants together to create ready-made displays.
These planters include a mix of spring flowers and foliage that work well together, giving you an instant display without needing to do the planting yourself. They’re perfect for patios, doorsteps, balconies or smaller garden spaces where you want something that looks good straight away.
They’re also a great option if you want something colourful but low maintenance.
Buzz Pots
Another popular addition this week are our buzz pots, which are planted with Saxifraga and Baby Bellis.
These small flowering plants produce lots of delicate blooms and are great for adding colour to pots, planters and garden borders. As the name suggests, they’re also great for attracting pollinators once the weather warms up.
They’re a lovely option if you want something cheerful and colourful that will keep flowering through the early part of the season.
Always Something New to See
One thing we always tell customers is that our stock changes regularly. Because we bring plants in throughout the season, what you see one week might be different the next.
That means it’s always worth popping down to see what’s new in this week, whether you’re looking for plants, planters or simply a bit of garden inspiration.
