9TH MARCH 2026: WHAT'S NEW THIS WEEK
We’ve had a big delivery of pots arrive this week, and the display area at our Honley garden centre is starting to look ready for the season ahead.
From classic terracotta to colourful glazed planters, there’s a really good mix of styles and sizes to choose from.
Traditional Terracotta Pots
We’ve restocked our large terracotta planters, which are always popular for patios, doorways, and garden features.
Terracotta is a timeless choice and works beautifully with:
- Olive trees
- Bay trees
- Lavender
- Small shrubs and topiary
These larger pots are perfect for creating statement planting areas around the garden.
Decorative Glazed Pots
We’ve also had a delivery of some lovely glazed ceramic planters in deep blues, greens, and earthy tones.
These are great if you want to add a bit of colour and texture to a patio or seating area, and work really well for:
- Feature plants
- Mixed container planting
- Patio displays
- Herbs and small shrubs
The glazed finish helps keep moisture in the soil, too, which can be helpful during warmer weather.
Textured & Decorative Planters
Alongside the larger pieces, we’ve also added a range of decorative pots and planters with textured finishes and natural colours.
They’re ideal for:
- Houseplants
- Smaller patio plants
- Mixing different pot styles together
- Adding interest to planting displays
Preparing for the Season Ahead
As we head into spring, the garden centre is starting to fill up with new stock arriving most weeks, including plants, pots, and seasonal arrivals.
