Stay Wet is made from absorbent crystals that rapidly soak up hundreds of times their own weight in volume of water, which acts as a water store. Meaning you won't have to water your water hungry plants as often. Mix the crystals with compost or soil to help your plant's base stay damp for much longer.
Stay Wet can be used in hanging baskets, planters, grow bags and for general use in the garden for new trees or shrub plantings.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
Fitzpatrick Fuels offer a local delivery service, which covers Huddersfield, and some of the surrounding areas.
Our minimum order for local delivery is £100, and we deliver free to most Huddersfield postcodes. If your delivery address is outside of our local delivery area, please call our team on 01484 653 768 for a delivery quote.
Local deliveries will be carried out in our own vehicles, by our friendly and helpful team. Our vehicles also have crane-off facilities to easily unload bulk bags and crates of firewood.
On our website, you can order any product, in whatever quantities that you like. Once your order has been processed, the team at Fitzpatrick Fuels will build your customised pallet, with the products in the quantities that you ordered.
We aim to deliver to you as quickly as possible. However, during the winter period, please allow for a 3 - 10 day delivery period to avoid disappointment.
You will be notified of a delivery date once you have placed your order. In the unusual event that your delivery date needs to be changed, you will be informed promptly. You can expect your delivery between 8:00 - 18:00.
Please note that we cannot give you a time to expect your delivery. If you call us on the morning of your delivery, we can give you an estimated time frame.
It is not necessary that you are home when we deliver, and if that is the case, you must advise us accordingly as to where to leave the product. We cannot be held responsible in the event of any loss or damage if you instruct us to leave the goods in your absence. We will endeavour to deliver the goods where instructed, please note, heavy items such as crates of logs and bulk bags will be offloaded via a crane and will be left adjacent to the vehicle.
As a general rule, all of our deliveries will be made by the roadside. However, if we can make the delivery easier for you by dropping the goods in a specific place on your land, we will try our best to accommodate. If we bring our vehicle onto your property, as per your instruction, we cannot be held liable for any damage.
If you live in an area with difficult access, you need to inform us prior to your delivery date so we can ensure to use the right transportation. If any of the below refers to your delivery address, please inform us:

NATIONAL DELIVERY
At this time, we no longer offer nationwide delivery through our website. The cost to deliver via third party transport companies has increased drastically, and fuel surcharges are changing weekly.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days to arrange a refund. It is the customer's responsibility to return the order of goods and we will refund you the cost of the product order within 30 days. We are unable to refund you for the cost of return.

Description
Fast acting water absorbent granules, Stay Wet can rapidly absorb hundreds of times their own volume of water, acting as a reservoir for plant roots growing in treated media.
Its rapid action ensures minimum water loss during watering and re-watering.
Stay Wet:

Mix with compost at planting time
Crystals absorb and release moisture.
Stay Wet can be added to dry compost or pre-wetted as a gel. If pre-hydrating, place the contents of the sachet in a bucket and add 1.5 litres of water before stirring.
In addition to usage in hanging baskets and planters, Stay Wet can be used in growbags, or used in the garden for new tree or shrub plantings in containers.
How To Use
Hanging Baskets, Tubs & Containers
Mix evenly into compost media using a trowel or by hand and water well after planting, seed sowing etc. For Best results fill the basket or container 3/4 full with compost and mix in the appropriate quantity of stay wet. Fill the rest of the container with standard compost.

Pre-Planted Baskets, Tubs and Containers
Make several holes in the surface of the container around the plants and fill the holes with Stay Wet. Use 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon per hole.
New Plantings
Use 10g (2.5 teaspoons) worked into 10 litres of soil or compost and re-fill the hole surrounding the rootball.

- Sweep up spillages which become slippery when wet
Eye contact
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Seek medical attention.
Skin contact
Immediately wash with soap and water. If skin irritation occurs consult a doctor.
Ingestion
Wash out mouth with water and seek medical advice.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air.
