Wood Pellets Back In Stock!

Wood Pellets Back In Stock!

We finally have a good supply of wood pellets again, which means that we are happy to announce that we have wood pellets back in stock!

Supply of solid fuels has become a lot more difficult since the invasion of Ukraine. As suddenly there was a lot less supply but still the same amount of demand. This was especially true with wood pellets, which were not only hard to get hold of. But those that we were able to find were going to cost exuberant amounts of money, which we didn’t feel was fair to pass onto the consumer.

While the price and supply of wood pellets has now evened out, the price is still higher than in previous years. This is unfortunately the nature of the market in general at the moment, especially natural resources, such as wood.

But it’s not all bad news, these new wood pellets are a premium product that are an extremely high quality. And below we’ll go into all the details about them!

What Can You Expect From Our Wood Pellets?

Our Wood Pellets are a premium pellet that are A1 & ENplus certified. Making them excellent as both a bio-fuel and as an animal bedding pellet. With a huge net calorific value of 17.21MJ/kg! Making sure you get a long burn time out of these pellets and a high heat output.

These pellets are completely free of any additives or binders as well as having a uniformed size of 6mm. Making them perfect for most animals that use bedding, including horses, cats, puppies, hamsters, rabbits, tortoises and many more.

Furthermore these pellets are made from virgin pine and spruce, with an ash content of 0.3% when burnt. And they aren’t dusty either with a particle content of 1.4%. Each bag weighs 15kg and a full pallet comes in at 65 bags.

Finally these pellets are also fully authorised by the FSC, meaning they come from sustainable sources. Making them carbon neutral and environmentally friendly. Saving you any headache about buying a wood product.

When Used As A Biofuel

Our wood pellets are exceptional as a biofuel as they burn for a long time, while producing a lot of heat. Better yet, when burnt they produce very little ash and burn down to almost nothing! Although to make the most out of wood pellets you will need a wood pellet boiler.

There are also no additives or bonding agents in this wood, which makes it an extremely clean burn. While they also come in plastic bags that keep them dry and clean. To make sure they give a clean, smokeless high heat burn!

When Used As Bedding

These wood pellets excel as bedding for your animals, from horses, to cats, puppies, tortoises, chicken etc. There are loads of animals that can make use of these pellets. These pellets are completely additive and bonding agent free, meaning they are just the virgin spruce and pine wood they have been made from. Which has then been treated under a high heat to remove anything nasty or harmful.

Additionally they also offer better value for money than traditional bedding options such as straw, as you only need to replace the pellets that have been used. And they come in an ideal size of 6mm. If you want to know how to use these wood pellets as a bedding you can find our full guide here.

In conclusion you will struggle to find a better quality wood pellet than these. You can find all of our wood products here. We also have a number of other great wood pellets articles that you may find handy!
